Doctor Atomic has been nominated for Best Opera Recording in the 2012 Grammy Awards. This landmark recording of John Adams’ opera starring Gerry as Oppenheimer, was conducted by Alan Gilbert with the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra and Chorus for Sony Classical.
